Job Description

CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an industry-leading importer, distributor and designer of luxury Italian interior furnishings across Cyprus, we are seeking to recruit a Wholesale Sales Representative to join their growing team based in Limassol. As a Wholesale Sales Representative, you will primarily be responsible for driving sales and expanding the customer base. This role involves identifying potential clients, establishing relationships, negotiating sales agreements, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, excellent communication skills in both Greek and English, as well as previous experience working in a relevant industry sector such as Construction, Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design or similar. Our client offers an attractive remuneration package based on skills and experience.  

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Ensure constant awareness of the Company’s products, including kitchens, cabinets, bedrooms, built-in furniture, electrical appliances, sinks, mechanisms, security, and fire doors, and any other items the company offers.
  • Conduct meetings with clients both in-store and at project sites.
  • Promote, coordinate, manage, and control retail and wholesale sales to incoming customers in the store and to land development entrepreneurs, architects, and decorators, based on quarterly or annual targets.
  • Monitor offers daily and systematically approach new clients in collaboration with general managers and/or the board of directors. Responsible for proposing and promoting matters related to their field across all sectors, such as marketing coordination, always in collaboration with the production manager.
  • Record a quarterly action plan with defined targets and perform monthly analysis and evaluation of output, recalibrating the plan as necessary according to its development.
  • Send daily work and promotion reports to management, using appropriate information mechanisms (tasks and electronic calendar).
  • Perform any other duties assigned by Management.
  • Make serious efforts to meet financial targets set for their area and send warning signals when these targets are not met, suggesting ways to improve target achievement.
  • Maintain a reference and control file of visits for proper reporting to management. This file should include appointment analyses, offers, contracts, observations of any omissions or errors needing resolution, an incoming customer list, contract analysis, progress updates, and timely customer collections in collaboration with the accounting manager. Monitor the detailed list of pending issues with the technical director.
  • Follow the company’s guidelines regarding offers given to customers based on the company’s current pricing policy.
  • Responsible for monitoring the company’s competitors. Develop policies to learn competitors’ prices through customers or other means and inform management.
  • Promote public relations with existing and potential customers.
  • Ensure orders are promoted without delays in consultation with the administration department and monitor the progress of loadings.
  • Maintain frequent daily communication with the Technical Supervisor of Crews to resolve any issues in executing various contracts.
  • Prepare monthly reports on sales, ongoing offers, technical issues, potential customer visits, showroom needs, etc., and report on whether monthly targets have been achieved.

Key Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field will be considered an advantage, but not essential
  • Experience as a Sales Executive within a relevant industry will be considered a significant advantage.
  • Previous experience in the Construction Sector (Interior Design, Architectural etc…) will be considered an advantage.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach and a strong work ethic.
  • Excellent command of Greek and English, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and outgoing personality
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
