Job Description

CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a leading importer and distributor of lighting relating products and services across Cyprus and The Middle East, we are seeking to recruit a Warehouse Operations Manager to join their growing team based in Nicosia. As a Warehouse Operations Manager, you will be responsible for receiving and inspecting incoming shipments for accuracy and condition, storing goods in designated areas, ensuring items are organized and easily accessible, and maintaining accurate records of inventory levels. Our client is seeking applicants who possess proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor, Storekeeper or in a similar inventory management role, including experience using inventory management software and systems. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English are a must. Our client offers an attractive remuneration and benefits package based on skills and experience.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and condition.
  • Store goods in designated areas, ensuring items are organized and easily accessible.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, including data entry and updating inventory management systems.
  • Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile with inventory records.
  • Monitor stock levels and reorder items as needed to prevent shortages.
  • Prepare and issue goods as requested by various departments.
  • Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for issued items.
  • Coordinate with the logistics team to schedule and track outgoing shipments.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all inventory transactions.
  • Prepare reports on inventory status, discrepancies, and usage patterns.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures regarding inventory management.

Key Skills/Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a Storekeeper or in a similar inventory management role.
  • Experience using inventory management software and systems.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy items.
  • Proficiency in using computer applications such as Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
  • Fluency in Greek and English.
