Overview

Our client, an innovative communications company based in Limassol, is looking to hire a Provisioning Officer who will be responsible to receive and act on customers’ requests for terminal/SIM card/services activation/deactivation/modification. In addition, is responsible to ensure that the company’s electronic systems and online platforms are correctly updated. This role can be performed by an employee with no previous experience in a similar role, where we will provide adequate on the job training.

Responsibilities:
Handle all provisioning activities for existing and possible new services offered by the company
New and existing vessels:
Issue/renewal of relevant Agreements & Certificates, addendums
Point Service Activation (PSA) services: activations/alterations/deactivations of vessel’s Inmarsat terminals in Inmarsat database (ESAS)
Registration of vessels and Inmarsat equipment with the flag registries
Update of all company’s electronic systems, databases and online platforms with the details of performed services
Pre-paid calling cards (processing of orders, monitoring and supply of stock)
Close cooperation with other departments in order to troubleshoot and resolve any issues reported by customers
Participate in the On-Call Rotation Schedule, to handle when necessary after office hours urgent requests from customers (shift weekly patterns between team-members take place)

Requirements:
A Degree in Business, Management or adequate experience in a similar position
Experience in a similar job position or in the maritime field would be considered as an advantage but is not a must
Excellent knowledge of the English Language
Good communication skills (written and oral)
Good knowledge of MS Office
Computer literacy
Logical thinker and the ability to work alone
Flexibility and adaptability to juggle a range of different tasks and to work extra hours to meet deadlines

Working hours:
The person who is on-call shift, will be working during normally working hours (08:30 – 17:00) and during after office hours he/she will continue to monitor incoming communication channels and will only respond and take actions when we have urgent requests from customers that require the Provisioning Officer’s immediate assistance. Regarding the On-call Rotation Schedule, the shifts work on weekly rotation patterns between the team-members of the Provisioning department (weekly shift = Monday to Sunday, including afternoon, evenings on weekdays and all day on the weekend, any holidays are included as well).
