Russian-speaking Accountant (VAC-D1228)

Overview

Our client is an international group of companies with activities within the Travel & Tourism sector with offices in Cyprus, UK, Germany and the US, and they are currently looking to recruit a Russian-speaking Accountant for their office in Nicosia, Cyprus.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Daily bookkeeping in the accounting system
Preparation of quarterly VAT Return
Prepare quarterly management accounts
Managing and maintaining the Company’s fixed assets register.
Reconciliation of receivables/payables/loans and banks
Assist in gathering information and coordination of the audits
Update financial data, document and file accounting transactions in an organized manner
Control over source documentation for companies registered locally and abroad
Perform any other accounting duties as assigned

Candidate Profile:
In possession of a Financial Diploma, currently studying for an ACCA (min 9 subject passed) or a holder of a Degree in an Accounting related subject.
A minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience will be highly desirable.
Computer literate especially in the use of MS Office, and previous experience with accounting software. Knowledgeable in accounting and bookkeeping principles.
Organized and self-motivated person who is willing to learn and grow professionally. A strong team player who can effectively interface with various departments.
A responsible individual who can work independently and meet deadlines.
Excellent knowledge of Russian and English languages is required
Experience with Dynamics Business Central Accounting Software or similar will be considered an advantage

Working hours:
Monday to Friday from 9am – 6pm.
