Our client, a Financial Services Company located in Limassol, is looking to hire a Head of Accounting.

Managing portfolios of accounting clients
Assisting in keeping timely and accurate accounting records for client companies and preparing them for audit
Meeting deadlines for monthly closings and reconciliations, preliminary review and analysis of trial balance
Assisting in the preparation and submission of VAT, VIES, OSS and INSTRASTAT returns
Assisting in the preparation of payroll calculations and submitting all necessary returns
Collaborating with external parties e.g. banks, tax authorities etc

Candidate profile: 
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or in any other related field
Professional Accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA)
Work experience in an Accounting role at a supervisory or managerial level, of at least 5 years in a comparable position
Strong knowledge of VAT, Social Insurance and Tax aspects
Good knowledge of Excel and Word
Knowledge of the Intelisoft program is preferrable
Excellent command of the English language both verbal and written. Russian would be highly advantageous
Excellent planning, prioritisation, communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Self-motivated and willing to learn and develop in a fast paced and growing organisation

Working hours:
The working hours Monday to Thursday 9.00am – 6.00pm and on Friday 9.00am – 2.00pm
