Our client is a European Real Estate and Hospitality organisation that develops and operates boutique hotels in select European cities and they are currently looking to recruit a dynamic and experienced candidate in the role of Financial Officer who will be working in close collaboration with the Financial Controller
We are looking for a Finance Officer to take charge of the financial health of our company and it is anticipated that over the next 5-8 years the portfolio will consist of over 20 boutique hotels.
The successful candidate would be administering accounting operations and preparing financing reporting documentation for senior management and is anticipated to be familiar with audits, invoices, reporting, forecasting, budget preparations, etc.. Our ideal candidate demonstrates interest in managing accounting activities, including bank reconciliations, accounts payable and accounts receivable. Should also have excellent organizational skills and be able to handle time-sensitive tasks.
Prepare balance sheets
Record accounts payable and accounts receivable
Update internal systems with financial data
Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
Participate in financial audits
Assist with budget preparation
Review and implement financial policies
Requirements and skills
Proven work experience as a Finance Officer or similar role
Solid knowledge of financial and accounting procedures
Experience using financial software is considered as an advantage
Advanced MS Excel skills
Knowledge of financial regulations
Excellent analytical and numerical skills
Sharp time management skills
Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data
Competitive salary of 1800 Euros gross x 13 salaries

Monday to Friday from 09.00 till 17.00
