Our client is a Crypto Exchange Company based in Limassol and they are now recruiting for a dynamic individual to fulfil the role of Back Office Officer. The Back Office Officer is responsible for onboarding individual or corporate clients, performing duties in line with KYC, AML and Due Diligence controls.
The Back Office Officer is responsible for onboarding individual or corporate clients, performing duties in line with KYC, AML and Due Diligence controls.
Having a sound knowledge and at least 1 year within the Forex/Crypto industry and proven communication skills, the Back Office Administrator will be able to handle customer queries and troubleshoot technical problems or issues related to accounts, payments and overall trading enquiries.
The main duties are to:
Onboard customers and open client accounts
Review KYC documentation in line with the company policies and procedures
Run World Compliance checks to screen prospective clients and perform enhanced due diligence
Verify individual and corporate accounts
Maintain existing client accounts
Monitor client accounts and ensure validity of documents
Update client records
Deal with customers in relation to payments issues
Provide clients with quality support in a wide range of areas such as technical troubleshooting, login/account issues, payments and overall trading enquiries
Assist clients through email
Liaise with the CRM provider to implement developments or resolve issues
Create procedure manuals
Use ticketing and project management systems
Report on a regular basis to the Head of Back Office & Customer Support Operations
Optimize operational processes
Keep up to date with AML and CFT standards
Cooperate closely with other departments and serve as client’s point of contact with them
Fully understand and be aligned with the objectives set at a departmental and company level
Follow company safety and security policies to ensure a safe and secure workplace for all
Keep a positive attitude and adopt a teamwork mindset
At least 1 year within the Forex/Crypto industry as a Back Office Administrator
Proven communication skills
Able to handle customer queries and troubleshoot technical problems or issues related to accounts, payments and overall trading enquiries
Computer literacy, with working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems.
Ability to work as part of the team
Attention to detail and target oriented
The working hours are 9am-6pm, Monday – Friday
