Our client is an International Corporate Services, Tax Consultancy & Trust Firm in Limassol. They are now looking to employ an enthusiastic internal Accountant. The role requires someone who has a good understanding of managing all aspects of accounting (including, payroll, vat, tax and other matters) from the outset through to the audit of the entities in their client portfolio and who is well organised. Time management is essential to achieving accurate and high-quality deliverables. Working on a hybrid basis, 2 days from home, is possible.

Manage a portfolio of clients
Respond to client requests timely and effectively
Prepare periodic management accounts for client review and audit
Process accounting ledger transactions
Perform reconciliations of control accounts, including all bank, debtor and creditor   accounts
Prepare all necessary reports and analysis within agreed deadlines
Prepare and process VIES and VAT returns as required, and ensure payments are paid on time
Prepare monthly payroll as required, and ensure payments are made on time
Provide timely and accurate estimates for provisional tax returns, and review all clients on a periodic basis for changes in their tax position
Liaise with auditors and client during the audit process, and ensure all information is provided on a timely and accurate basis
Other relevant duties as assigned by team leaders and management
To share knowledge and ideas within the team, helping to build stronger processes and contributing to the development of the Accounting Department and the company
Report to Team Leader regarding management of portfolio as required

Part-qualified ACCA / ACA or equivalent diploma in accounting Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting position; recording of data through to preparation of management accounts
2+ years’ experience in the ASP industry
Fund experience will be considered advantageous
Fluent in Greek and English;
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills;
Self-driven and highly motivated individual, able to work independently;
Solution oriented with strong analytical skills;
Proven ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure;
Positive, flexible personality, easy to adapt to changes, willing to undertake new tasks
Strong team player
Knowledge of MS Office software

Working Hours:
The working hours are Monday to Friday 8.30 – 17.30 (one hour break) or 09.00-17.30 (30minute break) AND once a week either on a Wednesday or Friday (on rotation) 08.30 to 15.00 (30minute break)
