We are looking for an experience talented Social Media Manager to develop manage and execute a robust social media strategy to support our Global Portfolio of International B2B events. We would like to strengthen our digital presence and invite a strong Social Media Manager to contribute to this. Covering a broad range of products across multiple industries and geographical markets you will have responsibility for the growth and development of our existing social media platforms and engagement. Within this your will have responsibility for dictating and optimize our ad exposure to drive tangible outcomes while staying within budgets and targets.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement a social media strategy to align it with business goals
  • Level up organic digital presence and strengthen it with paid media and ads
  • Set specific objectives and report on ROI
  • Compare and negotiate Ad spend rates
  • Optimize plans and budgets according to the best media mix
  • Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content
  • Collaborate and train other teams within marketing, sales, and operations to ensure brand consistency and amplify content
  • Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions
  • Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences
  • Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools, and applications
  • Experiment with new platforms and channels
  • Ensure ads are creative and displayed appropriately
  • Report to Social Media ROI to management

Must-have qualifications

  • Proven experience of 2 years as a Social Media / Digital Manager or similar role
  • Hands-on experience in content management
  • Negotiating ad space and time slots with various media outlets
  • Ability to deliver creative content (text, image, and video)
  • Familiarity with web design
  • Knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics
  • Knowledge of online marketing channels
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Analytical, organizational and multitasking skills
  • Working knowledge of media analytics software
  • Attention to details
  • Critical thinking skills
