Job Role:

The CYPRUS AIRWAYS Maintenance Planning Engineer is delegated by the CAMO Manager to assist in the overview of the Continuing Airworthiness. The Maintenance Planning Engineer is responsible to assist the CAMO Manager in the performance of the duties listed below in order to ensure the continued airworthiness of the aircraft being operated. He shall be able to show relevant knowledge, background, and appropriate experience related to aircraft continuing airworthiness.

Responsibilities:

  • To ensure that maintenance is planned and performed in due time, in accordance with the approved Maintenance Program, and to an approved standard.
  • Ensuring that the company’s technical records are kept as required by Part CAMO.A.305;
  • Ensure that all applicable airworthiness directives and operational directives with airworthiness impact are applied within the prescribed timeframes.
  • To coordinate scheduled maintenance, the application or airworthiness directives, the replacement of service life limited parts, and component inspection and to ensure the work is carried out in due time.
  • Liaise and control the performance of the airworthiness tasks subcontractor(s) pertaining to his duties.

Qualifications:

The Maintenance Planning Engineer must possess the following minimum qualifications:

  • A valid aircraft maintenance license or Part 66 Cat. A or C/B1 or C/B2 or combination license; or relevant university or engineering degree in aeronautical engineering, such as aircraft technology, electrical engineering, etc,
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in aircraft maintenance planning.
  • A comprehensive knowledge of procedures and regulations pertaining to airworthiness issues.
  • Knowledge of applicable Commission Regulation (EU) no. 1321/2014 on the continuing airworthiness of aircraft and aeronautical products, parts, and appliances and on the approval of organizations and personnel involved in these tasks.
  • Experience and proven ability in personnel leadership.
  • Very good knowledge of English
  • Level 1 Training on aircraft operated
