Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient operations of the Technical Store Section. He/she will oversee activities including sourcing, purchasing, shipping and transportation, inventory, warehousing, and delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain effective and timely implementation of all logistics daily operational goals.
  • Maintain and manage storerooms, repair parts inventory, shipment of parts and equipment and general control of accountable materials.
  • Manage logistics personnel and activities to best support operations and/or maintenance requirements.
  • Administer Alkym system.
  • Plan and execute procurement as per work packs requirements.
  • Alert the Head of Maintenance on critical parts shortages.
  • Continually review parts quantity for economical levels and advise the Management team accordingly.
  • Manage approval of supplier’s and invoices approvals.
  • Liaise with manufacturers and suppliers on warranty issues.
  • Ensure that site maintenance facilities are maintained in a safe, clean and orderly manner.
  • Pursue optimal performance from assigned resources with consideration of time, cost, and customer objectives.
  • Develop and brief site performance reports, identifies issues, and resolves concerns.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Minimum eight (8) years of experience in logistics management with at least three (3) years in supervision or management of logistics. Proven record of experience in logistics aviation industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics, business management, or related field.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of logistics problems, applications, and distribution systems.
  • Proven results dealing with internal and external customer requirements.
  • Leadership skills with capability of motivating the team. Result orientation, analytical thinking, planning and collaboration skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of applicable logistics automated systems for the assigned function.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software including Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
