Job Description

Our client, a CySEC regulated Forex Company in Limassol, is looking to employ a Fund Accountant to perform the duties related to the reporting statistics of the CIF for the monthly/quarterly/yearly capital adequacy.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for the processing of transactions and the preparation of payments.
Executing Payments through SWIFT and SEPA, Credit Cards and Wallets.
Coordinate with the Sales, Support and Compliance departments.
Supervising junior staff, provide training and mentoring junior staff.
Sensitive on the fluctuation of foreign exchange as well as system back-end process.
Perform any related work as assigned.
Responsible for on-time processing and payment of all payment requests.
Handle internal and external vendor correspondences via email and provide support to other colleagues.
Perform reconciliation, investigate, and follow up to reduce discrepancies.
Liaise with bankers and payment service providers.
Perform monthly and yearly closing activities.
Process manual and urgent payments requests.
Provide supporting documentation for audits.
Managing day-to-day monitoring of deposits and withdrawals.
Liaise with the Head of the Department for any issues/concerns.

Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least Degree in Finance / Accountancy / Banking or equivalent.
At least 4 Years of working experience and reporting knowledge in the banking or insurance related field is required for this position.
Experience in reporting to CySec and monthly/quarterly statistics for capital adequacy is a plus
Required skill(s): Microsoft Excel, Word, Payment Systems, Banking, CRM software.
Strong analytical ability, positive thinking, problem solving and negotiation skills.
Sharp time management skills and work independently.
Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data.
Fast learner and able to work under pressure with a teamwork based.
Proficient in both written and spoken English.
EU-citizenship

Working hours:
The working hours are 9am – 6pm, Monday to Friday (onsite)
