Job Description

CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an expanding Group of Companies that provides a range of services including Accounting & Bookkeeping predominantly to the Forex industry, we are seeking to recruit a Finance Coordinator to join their growing team based in Limassol. As a Finance Coordinator, you will primarily be responsible for the preparation and analysis of financial reports, statements, and projections to provide insights into the organization’s financial status. Our client is seeking applicants who are educated to degree level in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics or similar, who possess approximately 3+ years of relevant experience gained working in the Forex and/or Financial Services sectors. You should be Part or Fully ACA/ACCA qualification, and be fluent in both verbal and written English to a high standard. Key Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyse financial reports, statements, and projections to provide insights into the organization’s financial status.
  • Assist in the development, monitoring, and updating of budgets to ensure financial goals are met.
  • Oversee the processing of invoices, payments, and receivables, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Coordinate payroll functions, including the calculation and distribution of wages, taxes, and benefits.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and participate in internal and external audits.
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Liaise with other departments, vendors, and clients to address financial inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
  • Identify and implement improvements to financial processes and procedures.
  • Provide support for financial planning, forecasting, and strategy development.

Key Skills/Experience:

  • BSc in Economics, Mathematics, Finance, Accounting or related field.
  • ACA/ACCA Qualified or Partly-Qualified is a must. 
  • 3-5 years of previous experience in a similar position within the Forex industry.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in English is must.
  • Excellent understanding of financial reporting standards.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office/ Excel and familiarity with relevant systems software.
  • Experience in working with CRM systems will be advantageous.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and multitasking skills.
  • Detail oriented with strong time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical abilities.
  • Collaborative, work-ethical and positive personality.
