Job Description

CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an expanding Media Agency that is disrupting the advertising industry in Cyprus through technological innovation, we are seeking to recruit a Business Development Manager to join their growing team. Working closely with Senior Management, the successful applicant will primarily be responsible for driving business growth by identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and developing strategies to expand the Company’s presence across Cyprus. Our client is seeking candidates with proven Sales and Business Development experience, who possess a demonstrable track record of meeting and ideally exceeding designated revenue targets. You will need to be fluent in both Greek and English, have a passion for technology and innovation, with the ability to develop long-lasting relationships with key decision makers. An attractive remuneration package is available to the successful candidate, which includes a competitive basic salary, plus commission.

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
  • Understand clients’ business objectives and propose relevant solutions.
  • Drive sales growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop proposals and presentations for prospective clients.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to ensure profitable agreements.
  • Maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients and opportunities.
  • Provide regular reports and updates on business development activities, sales forecasts, and market trends to Senior Management.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to build relationships and promote the company’s products and services.

Key Skills/Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field will be considered an advantage, but not essential.
  • Holders of an MBA are encouraged to apply.
  • Proven experience in Business Development, Sales, and/or Account Management is essential.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving sales targets and business objectives.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluency in Greek and English.
  • Holder of a current, clean driver’s license.
