Job Description

A Technology Solutions Provider that provides IT support to a Forex company in Limassol is seeking a Junior IT Support Engineer.

Responsibilities:
Provide first-line support to end users for hardware, software, and network issues.
Install, configure, and maintain workstations, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
Assist with user account management (Active Directory, Office 365, etc.).
Troubleshoot basic network issues (LAN/WAN connectivity, Wi-Fi, VPN).
Maintain IT documentation and update inventory records.
Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff when required.
Support software updates, patches, and endpoint security tasks.

Requirements:
Fluency in both Greek and English.
Diploma/degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, or relevant certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+).
0–2 years of IT experience, including internships or hands-on lab work.
Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems.
Familiarity with common office applications (Microsoft Office, email clients).
Fundamental networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
Valid driving license
Knowledge of Jira ticketing systems will be considered an advantage.

Working hours:
The working hours are Monday – Friday from 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM including a 1-hour lunch break.
It’s an onsite role but the staff leave the office at 7:00 PM, so the engineer will primarily be on standby between 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM (remotely, no need to be in the office).
So the engineer will need to work from the office from 12:00 PM – 7:00 PM and then till 9:00 PM it’s just a standby role from anywhere.
