Job Description
Our client is an International financial services company and they are looking for a Senior Accountant to be based at their offices in Limassol.
The company is providing financial services, including bookkeeping, reporting, reconciliation, financial planning and analysis, and financial consultancy within the Financial / Fintech/FX sectors.
Position Overview:
You will be preparing, assisting, handling, and updating the accounting records as necessary. Moreover, you will be part of our exceptional Accounting team, with the greater scope to make a vital impact on our company’s success and further development!
Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing and preparing the accounting records.
Assist in the processing of financial statements according to financial guidelines.
Perform financial entries in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed.
Assist in the preparation of quarterly/yearly regulatory reports.
Filing and organizing of accounting related documents.
Bank reconciliations.
PSP reconciliations.
Prepare VAT reports.
Requirements:
2 years of previous experience in a similar position.
Student/member of ACA/ ACCA will be an advantage.
Degree in Accounting or holder of LLCI Higher.
Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in Greek and English.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting standards.
Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant accounting software
Must: Experience within a Forex / Payments/ Gaming/PSP or related industry is required
